The mission of the Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics is to provide vision and leadership in improving the teaching and learning of mathematics so that every student is ensured of an equitable standards-based mathematics education and every teacher of mathematics is ensured the opportunity to grow professionally.

New this year: ACTM Mathematics Teacher of the Year Award
To honor a few of our many excellent mathematics teachers in Arkansas, ACTM is starting an annual “ACTM Mathematics Teacher of the Year Award” in six categories. We would like you to spread the word and to nominate a deserving candidate, or nominate yourself! The awardees will be honored at this year’s annual ACTM conference on Friday, November 10, 2023.
The following awards are for teachers with a minimum of four years teaching experience:
