Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 ACTM Mathematics Teacher of the Year Awards!

To honor a few of our many excellent mathematics teachers in Arkansas, ACTM is hosting the annual “ACTM Mathematics Teacher of the Year Award” in six categories. We would like you to spread the word and to nominate a deserving candidate, or nominate yourself! The awardees will be honored at this year’s annual ACTM conference on Friday, November 15, 2024.

• 2024 ACTM Promising Novice Teacher of Mathematics Award (must have completed 1-3 years of K-12 teaching)

The following awards are for teachers with a minimum of four years teaching experience:

• 2024 ACTM Excellence in Elementary School (K-5) Mathematics Teaching Award
• 2024 ACTM Excellence in Middle School (6-8) Mathematics Teaching Award
• 2024 ACTM Excellence in Secondary School (9-12) Mathematics Teaching Award
• 2024 ACTM Excellence in Two-year College Mathematics Teaching Award
• 2024 ACTM Excellence in Four-year College/University Mathematics Teaching Award
