The mission of the Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics is to provide vision and leadership in improving the teaching and learning of mathematics so that every student is ensured of an equitable standards-based mathematics education and every teacher of mathematics is ensured the opportunity to grow professionally.
Do you, or someone you know, want to be nominated for the 2025 ACTM Math Teacher of the Year? Please see the link below for all requirements and an attached application. There are six different categories in which a teacher can be nominated. Membership in ACTM is not required. The winners of each category will be awarded a one-year membership to ACTM as well as free registration to the annual ACTM state conference on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at The Vines Center, Little Rock, AR. Winners will be recognized at the lunch meeting. Applications are due by midnight on September 15, 2025. |

Listserv Information The ARMATH and ARSTEM listservs are information sources for
Arkansas Math and STEM educators. These provide an opportunity for
teachers, state education agencies, and other professionals to share
information such as policy updates, professional development, curriculum and
lesson plan resources, and ideas related to Math and/or STEM education.
